Concrete fails at the base far more often than it fails in the mix. We strip the topsoil, compact the subgrade in lifts, and hold the thickness across the whole pour rather than only at the edges where it gets measured.

Control joints go in on a grid sized to the slab, cut early enough to matter. Broom, smooth and exposed-aggregate finishes available.
